In a notice posted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange website, Access Bank says it is informing the investing public that a meeting of Board of Directors of Nigeria’s largest bank by customer base has been scheduled for Tuesday October 27, 2020 to consider the company’s unaudited Financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020.

Access Bank’s earlier announced closed period in respect of transaction on it’s securities, will continue until 24 hours after the announcement of the third quarter 2020 unaudited financial statement in compliance with the listing rules of the Nigerian Stock exchange.

The company’s secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, said in a letter posted on the site that accordingly no director, employee or persons discharging managerial responsibility, adviser of the company and their connected person may directly or indirectly deal in the securities of the company in any manner during the closed period.

Nigeria’s largest bank by customer base earlier announced plans to restructure into a holding company, and consolidate operations in Mozambique and South Africa, looking to benefit from the new intra African trade due to start January 1st  2021.
