S&P Global Energy will officially open its new office in Abuja on Thursday, bringing together senior officials and industry leaders from Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
The event is scheduled for 7pm at the World Trade Center in Abuja and will be attended by Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri.
Also expected are senior officials from key regulatory institutions, including the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
They include the Commission Chief Executive of NUPRC, Mrs Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, and the Authority Chief Executive of NMDPRA, Mr Rabiu Abdullahi Umar.
The event will be hosted by Malick Diallo, Executive Vice President of Commercial for EMEA, LATAM and India at S&P Global Energy.
The company said the Abuja office would strengthen its engagement with Nigeria and support stakeholders across the country’s energy and natural resources sectors.
It also said the opening would provide an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to supporting the energy sector in Nigeria and wider West Africa.
The office opening marks an expansion of S&P Global Energy’s presence and engagement with stakeholders in Nigeria’s energy industry.
