The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly considering suspending the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 tournament due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
A source familiar with the matter informed said that the popular cricket league may be put on hold as diplomatic relations between the two neighbouring countries continue to deteriorate.
The IPL, one of the most lucrative and widely followed T20 tournaments globally, could face significant disruption if the BCCI decides to proceed with the suspension. Further details on the potential move are yet to be disclosed.
