Premier League: Arsenal Move Six Points Clear With 3-0 Win Over Fulham

Bukayo Saka inspires Arsenal to a dominant win over Fulham, extending their Premier League lead to six points.

Arsenal moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League after a commanding 3-0 victory over Fulham at Emirates Stadium, with Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres leading the charge.

The Gunners seized the initiative early, opening the scoring in the ninth minute. Saka, making his first start since March following an Achilles injury, beat Raul Jimenez down the right and squared for Gyokeres to tap home his 20th goal of the season.

Gyokeres turned provider before the break, slipping a precise pass into Saka, who curled a low finish past Bernd Leno at the near post to double Arsenal’s lead.

The Swedish striker completed his brace in first-half stoppage time, heading in Leandro Trossard’s cross to effectively seal the result before the interval.

Arsenal nearly added a fourth, with Riccardo Calafiori striking the crossbar after seeing an earlier effort ruled out for offside.

The win increases pressure on title rivals Manchester City, who have two games in hand and face Everton on Monday.

Manager Mikel Arteta rotated his squad, making five changes, and was able to rest key players, including Saka, who was withdrawn at half-time, as attention turns to Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid, tied at 1-1.
