With the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations ki King off in Cameroon in less than a week, there have been concerns from Nigerians about the chances of the Super Eagles having a good outing at the competition, due to the recent change of coach and the absence of key players for different reasons.

Three-time African champions, Nigeria, will confront seven-time and record winners Egypt, Sudan, and debutants Guinea Bissau in Garoua in the group stage.

The Eagles kick off their tournament with a clash against the Pharaohs on Tuesday, January 11, which many believe the outcome of the game will determine who tops the group at the end of the the first phase.

Former Nigeria captain Augustine Eguavoen, who coached the Super Eagles to a third-place finish at the finals in Egypt 15 years ago, will be looking to hit the ground running against an Egyptian team which includes Liverpool forward Mohammed Salah, who has been in fine form for Premier League side.

Nigeria Football President Amaju Pinnick was a guest on the Morning Show to discuss the chances of the Super Eagles at the upcoming tournament.
