Ntamu specifically said the partnership would revive the Obudu International Cable and Passenger Airport, as well as the airstrip and cable car facilities.
Speaking during an interview on ARISE News on Wednesday, the Director General of the Cross River State Bureau of Public-Private Partnerships, Dr Francis Ntamu, said the N60 billion partnership for the Obudu Mountain Resort would bring key facilities at the resort back to life.
“The Obudu International Cable and Passenger Airport will be back to life because of this partnership. So it’s a great experience when folks speak to where they don’t have information.”
He had earlier described the Obudu project as a N60 billion concession and said the project had reached the handover stage.
“Yeah it’s a 60 billion Naira project and we are glad that just last week Friday we had the project handover with a robust stakeholders engagement session right there at the ranch.”
Ntamu said the Obudu Mountain Resort was an experience the government wanted Nigerians to have again.
“Now Obudu Mountain Resort and it’s an experience I’m glad you’re bringing this up. An experience we would love Nigerians to have.”
