First Lady Tinubu Urges Nigerians To Protect Children, Schools From Attacks

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu urges Nigerians to protect schools, teachers and students, ensuring children can learn safely without fear or disruption.

Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Thursday stressed the need for all Nigerians to ensure that every school child learn in safe environment without fear.

In a message issued on Wednesday to mark this year’s International Day to Protect Education from Attack, the First Lady said:

“As we commemorate the International Day to Protect Education from Attack with the theme, “Education Can Survive Attack,” we are reminded of our collective responsibility to ensure that every child can learn in safety and without fear.

“As an educationist, I know that a classroom is where potential is discovered, dreams take root, and hope is nurtured. Every attack on a school, teacher, or student threatens the future of our children and communities.

“Let us unite in protecting our schools, supporting our teachers, and safeguarding every child’s right to education.

“When we protect education, we preserve hope and secure our collective future.

“Happy International Day to Protect Education from Attack 2026!”
