Beauty entrepreneur and reality TV star, Diadem Adeola, has accused her former friend and colleague, Dabota Lawson, of using bloggers to damage her reputation following their fallout.
Diadem made the allegation in a series of posts shared on her Snapchat page, claiming that Lawson had provided bloggers with information about her after their relationship turned sour.
According to her, private issues arising from their disagreement were subsequently taken to social media, with reports about the dispute appearing on blogs.
Diadem said the situation became particularly distressing when pictures of her daughter were published by a blog, describing the experience as deeply upsetting.
“I felt like a failed parent when I saw my daughter’s face on that dirty blog,” she wrote.
The entrepreneur further alleged that using bloggers to target people after disagreements was not an isolated occurrence, claiming that Lawson had adopted a similar approach in previous disputes with others.
“Every time you fall out with someone, it seems like your first instinct is to use bloggers to tear them down,” Diadem alleged.
She said she had spent years building her brand and business and was unwilling to allow the controversy surrounding the fallout to undermine her reputation or hard work.
While acknowledging that she and Lawson had had disagreements, Diadem maintained that she wanted the matter to end and urged her former friend to stop discussing her publicly.
“Get my name off your mouth Dabota Lawson and leave me alone,” she wrote.
The allegations come amid an apparent deterioration in the relationship between the two personalities, although Diadem did not provide further details about the specific information she alleged was shared with bloggers.
