He scored a total of 317,113 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Alhaji Sheriff Abdullahi of the PDP that polled 104,259 votes.
He defeated Lamido Mustapha Sule of the PDP who finished in second place.
Eno won 29 out of the 31 local government areas in the state with a total of 356,348 votes to defeat Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party with 136,262 votes.
“This is state-backed terrorism… Nobody has a monopoly of violence… I completely condemn the entirety of this election and I will challenge it in court,” he said.
The PDP candidate won convincingly with 563,756 otesahead of his closest contender Teslim Folarin of the APC who got 256,685 votes.
Amaechi expressed dissatisfaction with Saturday’s election, and decried what he called a total failure of governance in Nigeria.
