Colombian singer Shakira has set a new Amazon Music livestream record following her October 3 concert in Madrid, Spain.
The performance, which was streamed through Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch, drew more than 50,000 fans to Shakira Stadium, while audiences watched the concert online. Amazon Music announced the record on Sunday, October 4, a day after the performance.
The concert formed part of Shakira’s 12-date residency in Madrid under her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which began on September 18 and is scheduled to conclude on October 11.
The show also featured a surprise appearance by British-Albanian singer Dua Lipa, who joined Shakira on stage for an acoustic performance of “Antología,” a song from Shakira’s 1997 album Pies Descalzos.
Introducing Dua Lipa to the audience, Shakira described the collaboration as a meaningful addition to her tour.
“For me, it’s an honor and a privilege to sing this song, which means so much to me, with this woman who is so admired and loved around the world,” Shakira said.
Shakira also described the collaboration as what the tour had been missing.
Dua Lipa reflected on the performance in an Instagram post after the concert, writing in Spanish, “I felt that you, me, and the audience were one. Very grateful to take home such a beautiful memory!!!”
Shakira Stadium, a temporary venue constructed within Madrid’s Iberdrola Music complex, was built specifically for the singer’s residency in the Spanish capital.
The October 3 concert also served as the opening event for Amazon Music’s 2026 Women Shaping Latin Music campaign, which celebrates women influencing Latin music, its sounds and wider cultural movements.
Shakira’s Madrid residency continues with its final date scheduled for October 11.
