Fatigue has set in among voters at PU011, Gantry Sawmill, Ward 9, Ikire I, Irewole Local Government Area of Osun State, as the wait for accreditation stretches into hours.
As of 12:05pm, several voters were seen sitting and lying on the ground, apparently exhausted by the prolonged delay and slow pace of the accreditation process.
The polling unit has 2,239 registered voters, but only two BVAS machines are available to process their accreditation.
The limited number of machines has contributed to the slow pace of the exercise, leaving voters waiting for extended periods before casting their ballots.
The development has raised concerns over the ability of the available facilities to efficiently process the large number of registered voters at the polling unit.
