Reactions continue to trail the declaration made by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, who has made his intention known to run for the Presidency in 2023.

Reactions continue to trail the declaration made by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, who has made his intention known to run for the Presidency in 2023.

The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who is the latest to join the race generated reactions on social media after he boasted on Tuesday that he has all it takes to match Tinubu grit for grit for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress.

Meanwhile on Tuesday evening, the salvation ministry, a church in Delta State, collapsed during the church service, leaving members of the congregation including children trapped in the rubble.

The building which was being used for the first time, reportedly collapsed at about 5:55pm.

Eighteen persons were reported to have been rescued after officials of the Red Cross, the fire service, and security agencies arrived at the scene.

Finally, the umbrella body of the Yoruba self-determination group Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, headed by Professor Banji Akintoye, has backed the call allegedly made by Rotimi Akeredolu the Governor of Ondo State, for Yoruba people to make use of chicken and home-grown goats at social functions instead of health-threatened cows,

The group said that they agree with the Governor that N2.5bn is taken out of the Yoruba economy daily to develop the North which they say is not economically common-sensical.
