Jay-Z has reportedly selected himself to headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show, according to a reports.
The rapper’s entertainment company, Roc Nation, has helped select and produce the National Football League’s (NFL) halftime performances since 2019. The reported choice would see Jay-Z take centre stage after years of helping shape the show’s line-up.
Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus were reportedly among the major stars considered for the performance, which is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles area next February.
The reported decision has drawn attention because Jay-Z has played a major role behind the scenes in choosing the artists who perform at one of the biggest events in American sports.
Neither the NFL nor Roc Nation has officially confirmed the report.
