Harry Styles Sets Guinness World Record With 12 Sold Out Wembley Shows

Harry Styles earns a Guinness World Record after completing a record breaking 12 show Wembley residency.

Harry Styles has received a Guinness World Record for the longest run of concerts at Wembley Stadium after completing 12 sold out performances at the iconic venue.

The achievement makes Styles the musician with the longest single residency at Wembley Stadium, surpassing Coldplay’s previous record of 10 nights set in 2025.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford said: “Harry Styles’ record-breaking 12-date run is a testament to the scale, ambition and cultural impact of his live performances, as well as the incredible connection he has with his fans.”

The 32 year old opened the London leg of his Together, Together tour on June 12, with the final performance taking place on Saturday before a crowd of about 80,000 fans.

During the final concert, Styles reflected on his journey with One Direction and paid tribute to his former bandmates.

“I wouldn’t be on this stage if it wasn’t for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey,” he said.

“I wanna thank Niall, Louis, Zayn and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything… none of this would be possible, I wouldn’t be here without you, thank you so much.”

One Direction was formed in 2010 on The X Factor before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2016. Former band member Liam Payne died in 2024 at the age of 31.

Styles also took time during the show to reflect on his career and his connection to Wembley Stadium, where The X Factor was filmed 16 years earlier.

“Sixteen years ago… just outside of this building, just next door… I was put into a band that changed my life,” he said.

He added: “As I drive through this area, I’m flooded with memories from that time.

“And every time I have the privilege of returning to Wembley, it’s meant an incredibly great deal to me. Thank you so much.”

Wembley Stadium unveiled a commemorative banner ahead of the final show to mark the achievement.

In a post on X, the stadium wrote: “12 shows. One record. A place in Wembley history”.

Styles’ Wembley residency was initially scheduled for six nights but was extended to 12 due to overwhelming demand.

The singer’s tour will continue in Brazil, Mexico and the United States before concluding in Australia in December.
