‘Call Of My Life’ has become Nigeria’s highest-grossing film of 2026 after concluding its cinema run with more than ₦817.6 million in box office earnings across West Africa, marking the biggest theatrical performance by a Nigerian release this year.
Directed by Dammy Twitch in his feature film debut, the romantic comedy premiered in cinemas on May 15, 2026. Produced by Blessing Uzzi under Bluehouse Studios and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, the film follows Soluchi, a heartbroken call centre agent whose life changes after an unexpected phone call gives her another chance at love. Its final gross places it ahead of every other Nigerian film released in 2026.
Reacting to the achievement on X, Dammy Twitch wrote, “I am the Highest Grossing Director of 2026. Call Of My Life is the number one film this year

Producer Blessing Uzzi also thanked audiences for supporting the film throughout its cinema run. “Call Of My Life is officially the highest-grossing film in Nigeria of 2026.

During its theatrical run, ‘Call Of My Life’ became the first Nollywood film released outside the traditional December holiday period to surpass ₦600 million at the box office. Its earnings continued to grow steadily before closing above ₦817.6 million, placing it among the highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.
The film stars Uzoamaka Power, Andrew Yaw Bunting, Beverly Osu, Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Zubby Michael, Broda Shaggi and Justin UG. It also held the number one position at the Nigerian box office for several consecutive weekends during its theatrical run.
