In a revolutionary move bound to change Africa’s media landscape, Nigeria’s mosf-authoritative newspaper THISDAY will be available to potentially 75 million Nigerian subscribers on the MTN network.

THISDAY is now available via the MTN Zigi Chatbox where PDF versions of the paper are available daily. And with free data.

The MTN Zigi Chatbot would give millions of people free data to access the soft copy of THISDAY to help get them updated on daily happenings around the globe.

A THISDAY statement read, “Great News! You can now stay updated on daily happenings on THISDAY with your FREE data. Simply click https://wa.me/2349033000001 and select [8] to get started.”

Chairman of the THISDAY-ARISE Media Group, Prince Nduka Obaigbena said Zigi is part of a series of business collaborations between THISDAY and MTN Nigeria, in fulfilment of a promise made to commemorate MTN’s 20th-anniversary celebration.

Launched last year, the MTN Zigi Chatbot, is the telco’s new digital personal assistant that can answer questions, and assist subscribers with products, services, and activations.

Zigi chats in English language and is available to chat with both existing MTN customers and non-MTN customers as a guest.

The Zigi chatbot saves the time of customers waiting for customer care representative to respond to questions.
