Vinícius Júnior has returned to Real Madrid training following his post-World Cup break, with uncertainty surrounding the Brazilian forward’s future at the club.
The 26-year-old completed medical examinations before joining his teammates at the club’s Valdebebas training complex on Monday, as preparations continue under new head coach, José Mourinho.
Vinícius has been linked with a potential move to Arsenal after reports suggested Madrid are willing to consider offers if the winger does not agree a new contract. His current deal is set to expire next year, although discussions over an extension have yet to be scheduled.
Real Madrid confirmed the return of Vinícius and Brahim Díaz after their World Cup commitments. The Spanish giants continue their pre-season campaign with a friendly against Ferencváros on Saturday after opening with a 2-2 draw against Fiorentina.
