Trump Shares AI-Generated Video Of Himself With Tiger After Posting Fatal UK Attack Footage

Trump shares an AI-generated video of himself with a tiger after posting footage of a fatal attack in Britain.

US President Donald Trump has shared an apparently artificial intelligence-generated video showing himself interacting playfully with a tiger, shortly after posting footage of a man fatally attacked by a tiger at a wildlife park in the United Kingdom.

The two posts have drawn criticism and renewed attention to the president’s social media activity, with the family of the deceased man appealing to the public to stop sharing footage of the incident.

Trump posted the video of the fatal attack on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, accompanying it with the message, “Don’t ever mess with nature! President DJT.” He later shared an AI-generated clip depicting himself playing with and appearing to tame a tiger.

The incident occurred on Saturday, October 10, at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster in northern England, where 23-year-old William Chapman died after entering a tiger enclosure.

South Yorkshire Police said they received reports at about 1:35 p.m. that a man had entered the enclosure and had been attacked by the tiger, sustaining serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by medical personnel.

The victim’s family said the circulation of the footage was causing them severe distress at an exceptionally vulnerable time and urged people to stop sharing it.

In a statement reported by British media, the family described Chapman as a “bright, warm and engaging young man” and said it was for the coroner to determine whether his medical history played a role in his death.

Police have launched enquiries into the incident, while the wildlife park said the tiger, an endangered Amur tiger named Altai, was uninjured and would not be euthanised. Authorities said there was no wider risk to the public.

The park was evacuated following the attack and remained closed as investigations continued.

Trump’s posts have placed renewed focus on the online circulation of footage of the fatal incident, particularly following the family’s appeal for the videos to stop being shared.
