President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, as he marked his 50th birthday on August 19, 2025.
Dr. Ogbuku, a former executive member of the Ijaw Youth Council and a prominent Niger Delta leader, previously served as Chief of Staff to former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva and as Senior Special Assistant to former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commended Dr. Ogbuku for the NDDC’s achievements under his leadership, particularly in infrastructure development and interventions in health, agriculture, and environmental remediation.
The President prayed for Dr. Ogbuku’s continued good health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to the nation, while extending his best wishes for a joyous and memorable celebration.
