Holding leaders accountable is the primary responsibility of every citizen of a nation. But in most cases, hardly are the activities of most leaders; especially politicians in Nigeria are held accountable by their followers.

However, there are some followers who have decided to do the needful by holding their leaders accountable irrespective of who they are, and what they do.

Sonny Iroche is Convener & National Coordinator, Abia League Of Professional Initiatives

As a group, the Abia League of Professional Initiatives was conceived as a non-partisan NGO, with like-minded professionals that cut across all fields of human endeavors of Abia origin.

The group is questioning the decision of their senators representing them in Abuja over the Electronic Transmission of Results, which was voted against by majority of the senators present at the upper house deliberation.

According to the group, senators from Abia state should have all voted in support of the INEC Electronic Transmission of Results.

Rather, only one senator (Enyinnaya Abaribe) met their aspirations.  Thus, they are asking why the duo of senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Senator Theodore Orji should continue to represent Abians in the senate.

Iroche also spoke on the issue of Nigeria’s Next presidential elections and where he thinks the next president should come from.
