Pop superstar and business mogul Rihanna has confirmed she is expecting her third child, making the announcement in signature style at the 2025 Met Gala in New York. The 37-year-old was the last to arrive at the glitzy fundraiser on Monday night, cradling her visible baby bump and dazzling onlookers with a broad smile.
The annual event, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is renowned for its extravagant fashion statements. This year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” marked a rare focus on menswear, and Rihanna’s arrival—on a navy carpet adorned with daffodils—offered one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty, was joined by her partner A\$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, who served as a co-chair for the evening. He confirmed the pregnancy to reporters on the red carpet, saying, “It is time to just show the people what we were cooking up.”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” the rapper added as reporters offered their congratulations. “I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we’re definitely happy.”
