Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the country after two weeks of medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
He arrived via the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport in the nation’s capital Abuja.
Among those who received him at the airport were his chief of staff, Ibrahim Gambari; minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), Muhammed Bello; national security adviser, Babagana Monguno; as well as other security chiefs.
Buhari departed Nigeria for the UK on March 30 for a “routine medical check-up.”
The president later said he was taking a “short rest” in London in a letter to Abdullah ll Bin Al-Hussein, the king of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
