The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi is calling for a thorough review of unintended airstrikes on civilians, deeming it intolerable.
Obi during his visit to the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna to see firsthand the victims affected by the accidental military bombing in Tudun Biri Community expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State government and the hospital management for swiftly responding and taking care of the victims.
He further called on the government to support the military to ensure that such unfortunate incident does not repeat itself.
Obi endorsed an investigation into the incident, pledging a donation of five million naira to aid medical personnel treating the affected individuals.
