The Wife of the Governor of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke, has assured residents that the dividends of democracy in the state will be tripled following the massive support given to Governor Ademola Adeleke during the last governorship election.
In an interview with members of the press on on Sunday, Erelu Adeleke expressed appreciation for the love, resilience, and kindness demonstrated by the people of Osun, who she noted turned out en masse to re-elect the governor for a second term.
“We thank the good people of Osun for standing firmly behind this administration,” she said. “Your love, your resilience, and the way you came out en masse to re-elect our governor will not go unrewarded. By the grace of God, the dividends of democracy will be tripled across all sectors.”
She further pledged to personally scale up her support for government initiatives, with a particular focus on women and youth empowerment.
“I will personally increase my support for this administration, especially through expanded empowerment schemes” that will directly impact families, women, and young people across the 30 local government areas, she added.
Describing her husband as both people-oriented and results-driven, Erelu Adeleke said: “The dancing governor of Osun is indeed a working governor”. His commitment to infrastructure, health, education, and grassroots welfare is visible for all to see.
She called on citizens to continue to support the government’s policies and programmes, stressing that collective effort is key to delivering more projects and prosperity to the state.
