At least 15 people, including 12 soldiers, have been killed in a suicide bombing in northwestern Pakistan, according to the country’s military.
The attack occurred on Friday, with the military confirming that security personnel were among those who lost their lives in the blast. Authorities said investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the explosion and identify those responsible.
The military did not immediately disclose further details about the location of the bombing or the group behind the attack.
Northwestern Pakistan has experienced repeated militant attacks in recent years, with armed groups frequently targeting security forces and civilians in the region.
