A former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega has said there are three key areas of the draft electoral bill that will pose serious challenges and create more problems for Nigeria’s electoral process if they are not urgently attended to by the country’s lawmakers.

The former INEC boss who is also a Professor of Political Science stated this on Monday when he featured on ARISE Newsnight and said the draft bill which is being considered by the National Assembly should have been better than what is obtainable.

Mr Jega said he expected that members of parliament addressed their minds clearly on some of the key issues that will enhance the integrity of the electoral process.
