Nigerian singer Alexander Adelabu, popularly known as Magixx, has announced the death of his mother, Esther, describing her passing as one of the most painful experiences of his life.
The 26-year-old Mavin Records artiste announced her death in a tribute shared on social media, where he expressed his difficulty coming to terms with the loss.
Magixx recalled his mother’s unwavering support for the family and her kindness towards others, describing her as a strong woman who continued to show love and care despite battling illness.
“I have never felt pain like this. Never been this lost. Still processing that this is real. Can’t believe this happened to you, Mom.”
The singer described Esther as his biggest source of support and reflected on the close bond they shared.
He also remembered her for her free spirit, wit and kindness, saying people who encountered her were naturally drawn to her personality.
Magixx expressed regret that he could not tell his mother one more time in person how much he loved her.
He added that despite the pain of losing her, he would choose her as his mother again in every lifetime.
