Kwara APC Chieftain Urges Party To Learn From Osun, Resolve Internal Disputes Ahead Of 2027

Femi Araba urges Kwara APC stakeholders to embrace dialogue, fairness and reconciliation to resolve internal disputes before 2027.

A chieftain of APC in Kwara State, Femi Araba, on Monday, urged party stakeholders in the state to draw useful lessons from Osun on the need to manage internal differences through dialogue, fairness, and reconciliation ahead of the 2027 elections.

Araba, a governorship aspirant of the party in the recent primaries of APC in the state, said, in a statement in Ilorin, “Every political family will have differences, and the strength of a party lies in how it manages those differences.

“There is a time to win and a time to lose. Politics requires the wisdom to win some and lose some, because today’s winner may need on Monday’s loser tomorrow.

“The concerns being expressed by different stakeholders within APC Kwarashould not necessarily be viewed as opposition to the party or its leadership.”

Araba said, “They should be given a fair hearing and assessed on their merits, with the overriding objective of strengthening the party.

“I, therefore, believe that the National Working Committee should look carefully into the various concerns and positions being expressed, listen to all sides and determine what is in the best interest of the party.”
