In Personal Phone Call, Buhari Prays For Tinubu, Wishes President Well On 72nd Birthday 

Former Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari says he’s fully committed to the success of the Tinubu-led APC government.

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has  followed up his public statement on Thursday congratulating President Bola Tinubu on his 72nd birthday with a phone call on Friday to the President during which he personally passed on his best wishes for a happy birthday to the President.

In the course of the conversation, the former president said he was fully committed to the success of the APC administration under President Tinubu.

In this regard, President Buhari prayed profusely for Tinubu’s success, saying

praying for a leader is imperative as his success and well-being are for the nation (everyone) adding that the accomplishments of the new administration must be seen as national achievements.

Buhari had on Thursday extended birthday greetings to President Bola Tinubu wishing him good health and long life in order for the country to benefit from his “excellent leadership.”

In a message issued to mark the 72nd birthday of the President on Friday, Buhari commended President Tinubu for making “sustained efforts to overcome the many problems of the country,” while wishing him many happy returns of the day.

He said: “My family and I pray to God that you remain healthy and happy and continue to work for the betterment of the country. Happy birthday to you!”
