Imam Prays For Tinubu As 10 Children Of Matawalle Wed In Abuja

Imam prays Tinubu’s tenure restores hope as 10 children of Matawalle – five sons and five daughters – wed at Abuja National Mosque.

Ten children of the Minister of State for Defence, Mohammed Bello Matawalle, were married on Friday in a multiple wedding ceremony held at the National Mosque, attended by Bola Tinubu.

During the wedding fatiha, the officiating Imam, Prof. Luqman Zakariyah, offered special prayers for President Tinubu, describing him as “a father of all” and asking Almighty Allah to grant him good health, long life and success in office.

The Imam prayed that Tinubu’s tenure would restore hope to the hopeless and bring prosperity to Nigerians, while also seeking divine blessings for the newly married couples and their families.

At the ceremony, Matawalle gave out five of his daughters—Maryam, Safiyya, Farida, Nana Firdausi and Aisha—in marriage, while five of his sons—Ibrahim, Abdul Jalal, Surajo, Bello and Fahad—also got married.

President Tinubu formally received the brides into the Matawalle family on behalf of the parents.

The wedding was witnessed by the President of São Tomé and Príncipe, Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, as well as state governors, members of the National Assembly, Federal Executive Council members, service chiefs, diplomats, traditional rulers, religious leaders and other dignitaries.
