CLICK TO WATCH

Deputy spokesperson, All Progressives Congress, Hannatu Musawa, says she’s dissatisfied with the way women are treated in Nigerian Politics.

She says she would prefer if the affirmation on the participation of women in Nigeria be moved up to at least 50 percent as opposed to the proposed 35 percent which hasn’t even been met.
She argues that although there has been progress in the representation of women in Nigerian politics, there is always room for improvement.

She also asserts that the APC’s choice to give her the political responsibility of deputy spokesman is evidence that the party values women.
In light of this, she urges all women to support APC’s presidential campaign in the upcoming 2023 elections.
