Goods worth hundreds of millions of naira have been destroyed in a fire outbreak at a major electronics store in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
The fire had raged for more than an hour as of the time of filing this report, prompting frantic efforts to salvage goods from the building.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, while firefighters are working to contain the blaze.
No casualties have been reported.
Security personnel were at the scene to prevent suspected criminals from looting goods within the premises as efforts to control the fire continue.
