Canadian rapper Drake has made chart history after claiming the top three positions on the Billboard 200 albums chart simultaneously for the first time ever.
His latest releases ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR debut at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 respectively on the May 30 chart.
The achievement marks the first occasion since the Billboard 200 began weekly publication in 1956 that a single artist has occupied the top three spots at the same time.
ICEMAN also delivers Drake his 15th No. 1 album, moving him ahead of Jay-Z for the most chart-topping albums by a solo male artist in Billboard history. He now equals Taylor Swift among solo acts, trailing only The Beatles, who hold the record with 19 No. 1 albums.
According to Billboard, ICEMAN earned 463,000 equivalent album units during its opening week in the United States, making it the biggest R&B and hip-hop debut of 2026 so far. HABIBTI followed with 114,000 units, while MAID OF HONOUR opened with 110,000.
The albums were all released on 15 May, although only ICEMAN had been heavily promoted beforehand. Drake revealed HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR during a livestream shortly before their surprise release.
The chart milestone also makes Drake the first act ever to debut simultaneously at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard 200. Previous double debuts at Nos. 1 and 2 were achieved by Guns N’ Roses in 1991 and Nelly in 2004.
Drake now has 20 top-10 albums on the Billboard 200, surpassing Future for the most top-10 projects by a rap artist.
