American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been transferred from a federal prison in New Jersey to a low-security correctional facility in Pennsylvania following reports that he was involved in a physical altercation with a Jamaican drug lord while serving his sentence.
According to the reporrts, Combs was moved from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, a low-security federal prison housing approximately 1,044 inmates.
The transfer comes after it was reported that the rapper had suffered a serious head injury during an alleged confrontation with Jamaican drug lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke while behind bars.
The report raised questions about Combs’ safety in prison and the circumstances surrounding his reported injuries.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has since dismissed the claims, maintaining that the alleged confrontation never took place.
Prison officials also confirmed that Combs had been relocated to the Pennsylvania facility but declined to provide further details about the circumstances surrounding his transfer, citing privacy and security concerns.
Authorities have not established any connection between the relocation and the alleged incident as reported.
Combs is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence following his conviction in 2025 on two prostitution-related charges.
The conviction followed a high-profile criminal trial in which federal prosecutors brought several charges against the music executive, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Although jurors found him guilty on the two prostitution-related counts, he was acquitted of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
His transfer places him at FCI Allenwood Low, where he is expected to continue serving his sentence.
