AGF Abubakar Malami, said the meeting was fully briefed by the Chief of Defence Staff, the three service chiefs, Inspector-General of Police and heads of other security agencies.
He urged security agents to maintain peace and order in a manner that does not breach the citizen’s right to vote.
“No member of G5 can railroad another member into supporting anyone against his will as suggested by Senator Kalu.”
The APC denied that the ex-Lagos governor threw wads of naira notes to crowd.
It called for proactive intervention to calm tensions and revent violence.
He said Africa and the world is watching and hoping that the outcome of the elections will bring all parties together to build a better country.
