Speaking on the upcoming election, he said “there is no space for violence in this election.”
He alleged that some parties are stockpiling arms to intimidate voters during the election.
“We believe that the government will do the right thing in getting those who are criminals to be prosecuted and sent to correctional centres… But it must be done within the bounds of law.”
He said $3.6bn has been secured for the East Africa railway corridor linking Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi.
It ordered that Emefiele should transmit and deposit his travel documents to the court’s registrar.
He raised concerns over the lack of boats and personnel to police riverine communities during the elections.
