Bobrisky Sentenced, ’Biafra Govt’ To Support Israel With Troops + Odumeje’s ‘Powers’ – Trending With Ojy Okpe

The sentencing of popular cross dresser Idris Okuneye also known as Bob Risky, to six months in jail without the option of paying a fine for defacing the Naira reverberated across social media, eliciting controversy, especially after several videos emerged showing prominent Nigerians engaging in the same act, including the governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umar Bago, who was seen, in the viral video, throwing wads of naira notes to residents as he drove along the streets of Minna, the Niger State capital.

Since the emergence of that video, the question on the lips of many Nigerians has been: will the EFCC display the same zeal with which they arrested and prosecuted Bobrisky, so as to deter government officials and politicians from defacing the Naira? Although the governor enjoys immunity from prosecution while in office.

The arrest and sentencing of Bobrisky, the EFCC and the court has come under heavy criticism, especially given that bobrisky was a first time offender and had also pled guilty to the charge. Some Nigerians have described the action of the anti-graft agency as abuse of power.

Well the EFCC in a statement released on Sunday attempted to clear the air. The Yoruba Nation self-determination group led by historian, Professor Banji Akintoye, and Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, over the weekend, condemned the group “OminiraYoruba” led by Modupe Onitiri Abiola, whose members and supporters allegedly invaded the Oyo State Government House.

On Saturday, April 13th, security officials arrested 16 gunmen suspected to be members of the group, for invading the state government secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan. The gunmen, who were dressed in military camouflage, reportedly engaged security officers in a gun duel.

Sunday Igboho and Professor Akintoye, in statement said that they are not associated with the ‘Omini-rayoruba’ group because their agenda is totally different from the real Yoruba nation campaign.

The pastor was in London England where he hosted a show at the Lighthouse Theatre, tickets for the event were said have sold for at least £700 pounds for a table of 6! In the new song, which has stirred up some controversy online, Odumeje revealed his intention to unleash his powers which he claimed will solve the challenges bedevilling Nigeria.
