West Africa’s largest airline, Air Peace, has strengthened its commitment to operational excellence and global aviation standards through a strategic partnership with Dutch Aviation Trainers (DAT), a leading international aviation training organisation.

The engagement, held on Thursday at the Air Peace Corporate Headquarters in Lagos, brought together officials of both organisations to discuss pilot training collaborations, particularly for the airline’s Boeing 737 NG fleet.

DAT currently handles the training of Air Peace pilots on the Embraer E1 and E2 aircraft types, further deepening an existing relationship focused on improving technical expertise and flight operations standards.

Dutch Aviation Trainers is globally recognised as an Aviation Training Organisation (ATO) specialising in Boeing and Embraer aircraft training, offering type-rating programmes and advanced operational courses aligned with international aviation standards.

The organisation has also provided training services to global carriers including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and AMAS Airlines Uruguay.

Speaking during the engagement, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to continuous investment in human capital development, safety, and advanced crew training.

According to the airline, the collaboration forms part of broader efforts to maintain world-class operational standards across its expanding fleet and growing domestic, regional, and international route network.

Representing Dutch Aviation Trainers at the meeting were its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Captain Paul Ten Hof, alongside senior official Herman, who engaged Air Peace executives on training collaboration and future capacity-building opportunities.

The airline said the partnership further reflects its strategic focus on maintaining a highly trained workforce while aligning its operations with global aviation best practices.

Air Peace added that the collaboration is expected to further strengthen flight safety, operational efficiency, and service delivery across its operations.
