Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has disclosed that the state was in total support of the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in January, 2027.
According to Kefas, Taraba voters are 100 per cent behind the president and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general election.
Kefas made the declaration on Wednesday after meeting with Tinubu at State House, Abuja.
The governor said federal interventions in security, education, healthcare, and infrastructure were making a visible impact across Taraba State.
He praised the impact of the Tinubu administration’s interventions in Taraba, saying residents are directly benefiting from federal support across critical sectors.
According to him, improved security, free education, healthcare services, and infrastructure development have strengthened confidence in the federal government and deepened public support for the president.
He stated, “You can see that I’m on ground, we’re in charge. All the interventions, all the support from the president, the people are feeling it, from security to free education to healthcare system to infrastructure.”
Kefas added, “So the people have no doubt, and they’ve given all the assurance that Mr President is reaching out to them through me, and for that reason, they are going to vote for Mr President. Taraba State is for APC 100 per cent.”
The governor, the APC leader in the state, said his visit was partly to welcome the president back and to convey condolences over the recent Nigerian Air Force plane crash in Ondo State.
He described the incident, which claimed the lives of military personnel and other citizens, as a national tragedy deserving of collective sympathy.
