Professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, widely known to fans as Pac, Bastard, Adrian Neville and Neville, has died at the age of 40.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) confirmed his death but did not provide details about the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Satterley was active in the wrestling industry for more than two decades and had most recently competed at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view event in Chicago on Saturday night.
During the event, he challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship but was unsuccessful.
In a statement, AEW described Satterley as one of wrestling’s most talented performers, praising his innovative high-flying style and contributions to the company.
“A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organisations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability,” AEW said.
The company added that Satterley joined AEW in 2019 and held multiple championships while competing in some of the promotion’s most memorable matches.
Satterley became one of AEW’s leading performers, winning the All-Atlantic Championship and becoming a two-time World Trios Champion.
Before joining AEW, he gained global recognition in WWE, where he performed as Neville and became a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
He also won the NXT Championship during his time in WWE’s developmental system.
Known as “The Man That Gravity Forgot,” Satterley earned a reputation for his athletic ability and aerial wrestling style, particularly his signature corkscrew shooting star press finishing move.
Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and competed for promotions around the world before becoming a major figure in both WWE and AEW.
AEW offered condolences to his family, friends and fans following his death.
