Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was denied entry to the National Assembly complex on Tuesday, despite a court order for her recall from a six-month suspension, leading to a public showdown with security.

Following the public showdown, activist Aisha Yesufu strongly condemned women’s political discrimination and the disregard for court orders.

Meanwhile, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo insisted that Peter Obi must seek security clearance before visiting Edo, a stance publicly defended by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as a security protocol.

This triggered backlash, with Peter Obi’s supporters and a law firm condemning it as unconstitutional.

Adding to the controversy, Edo APC Chairman Jarret Tenebe publicly declared his hatred for Peter Obi, asserting his right to express such sentiment.

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani officially unveiled new housing units for victims of banditry on Tuesday, part of the Qatar Sanabil Project.

The initiative provides modern homes, along with a school, clinic, and economic empowerment tools, aiming to restore dignity and offer a fresh start for families displaced by insecurity.
