Tributes pour in for Musician Patrick Fakoya popularly known as ‘Rico Swavey a former Big Brother Naija housemate who died on Thursday October 13th, at the age of 29, after suffering fatal injuries sustained from a car crash. In another development, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has again stirred up social media, after he increased the number of recently-appointed special assistants from 28, thousand people to 50,000.
Meanwhile, the Governor who has been absent from critical party events and meetings reiterated the call to remove the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Iyorchia Ayu during a meeting with Four South-south Governors who had been assigned to plead with him to support the PDP flag bearer Atiku Abubakar. Finally, in Kogi State, a chief magistrate court sitting in Lokoja, remanded Pastor Adeiza Peter Michonza at the Federal Correctional Centre Kabba, over alleged culpable homicide. The pastor is the overseer of the New Jerusalem Deliverance Ministry in Okene local government area of the state.
He was arrested over allegations of running labour wards for pregnant women in his church and selling bulletproof water to people.
