Trump:Cartels Will Be Designated as Foreign Terrorist Organisations

Trump has announced designating cartels as foreign terrorist organisations, invoking full power of law enforcement to combat foreign gangs.

In a dramatic move, President Donald Trump announced that he will designate cartels as foreign terrorist organisations.

Speaking from the Capitol, Trump revealed that the executive orders will invoke the “Aliens Enemies Act of 1798,” allowing the government to use the “full and immense power of federal and state law enforcement” to combat what he described as “foreign gangs on US soil.”

Trump’s bold declaration comes as part of his broader plan to tackle a range of domestic and international challenges.

The move is expected to dramatically escalate efforts to combat cartel violence and drug trafficking, marking a significant shift in the U.S. government’s approach to organised crime.

Shifting focus to the economy, Trump turned his attention to the rising inflation and energy costs that have plagued American families. A key issue in his re-election campaign, the president stated that he would direct all members of his cabinet to take immediate action to “defeat” inflation and “rapidly bring down costs and prices” for everyday Americans.

In a particularly striking move, Trump also declared a national energy emergency, reiterating his long-standing promise to ramp up drilling for oil and gas on US soil.

“America will be a manufacturing nation once again,” he proclaimed, adding that the US has “the most oil and natural gas of any nation on earth, and we’re going to use it.”

To cheers from the crowd, Trump famously chanted, “Drill baby drill,” underscoring his commitment to energy independence and his focus on boosting domestic production.
