Despite political tensions, Governor Fubara will inaugurate 10 major infrastructure projects across Rivers State between December 10 and 23.

Despite renewed political tensions in Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara is moving ahead with the inauguration of 10 major projects designed to improve infrastructure and enhance socio-economic development across several local government areas.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Benibo Anabraba, announced this on Monday during a media briefing in Port Harcourt, emphasising the governor’s unwavering commitment to delivering people-oriented governance.

Anabraba commended President Bola Tinubu for his “timely and fatherly intervention,” which he said ensured the continuity of the Fubara administration following a recent governance disruption. He assured Rivers people that the governor remains focused on fulfilling his mandate.

“As a government elected on the popular mandate of the good people of Rivers State, we pledged from inception to make the welfare of our citizens the primus of our social contract,” he said.

He noted that the administration has continued to provide critical infrastructure, strengthen welfarist programmes, and maintain peace and order to drive economic growth across the state.
