The Presidential Election Petition Court, On Tuesday admitted documents as exhibits, filed by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi accusing President Bola Tinubu of drug offences in the United States.
Peter Obi is asking the court to nullify Tinubu’s victory alleging widespread irregularities during the presidential election and Tinubu’s ineligibility to contest the election. Obi’s lawyer tendered the documents purporting to be the US court’s decision awarding $460,000 fine against the president for illicit drugs trafficking imposed by the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois. In the meantime, Peter Obi in a series of tweets, on Monday stated that he is aware of some evil designs against him, and his supporters in the coming months.
