President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the Federal Government is investing in shared MSME hubs to give entrepreneurs access to modern equipment, reliable power and production facilities without bearing the full cost alone.
Tinubu stated this in a post shared on his official X account, explaining that a tailor should not need millions of naira to purchase industrial machinery before growing her business, while a food processor should not have to build a factory before producing at scale.
He said the initiative is being implemented under his Renewed Hope administration through the National MSME Clinics, with shared facilities designed to remove barriers limiting the growth of small businesses.
“A tailor should not need millions of naira to buy industrial machinery before she can grow her business. A food processor should not have to build a factory before producing at scale,” Tinubu said.
“That is why the Federal Government, under our Renewed Hope administration, is investing in shared MSME hubs through our National MSME Clinics, giving entrepreneurs access to modern equipment, reliable power and production facilities without carrying the full cost alone,” he added.
According to the President, 21 shared facilities across 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory are currently supporting businesses and an estimated 650,000 jobs.

Tinubu said Nigerians have the ideas, skills and ambition required to build successful businesses, but often lack access to the tools and infrastructure necessary to turn those capabilities into viable enterprises.
“Nigerians do not lack ideas, skill or ambition. Too often, they lack access to the tools and infrastructure needed to turn them into successful businesses,” the President said.
“Our job is to remove those barriers,” he added.
He said improving access to production facilities would enable small businesses to increase output and reduce costs, making them more competitive while creating employment and income opportunities for Nigerian families.
“When small businesses can produce more, at lower cost, they become more competitive. They grow. They employ more people. They create income and opportunity for Nigerian families,” Tinubu said.
“Giving Nigerian enterprise the tools to succeed is how we build prosperity from the ground up,” he added.
“That is the Nigeria we are building,” the President said.
