President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent his condolences to Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze, on the passing of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Chukwueze. In a statement issued on Thursday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President extended his sympathies to the footballer, his family and loved ones over the painful loss.
President Tinubu described the death as deeply saddening, noting that it occurred shortly after the passing of the father of Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi, making it a difficult period for the national team family.
“The passing of Mrs. Chukwueze, the mother of one of our bright football stars, is deeply saddening,” the President said. “I mourn with the family and pray that God grants them strength during this trying time.
”The President encouraged the Chukwueze family to take solace in the memories and legacy of their late matriarch, while praying for the repose of her soul.
