The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has declared 8 persons wanted in connection with the killings of the officers.

The military authority made the announcement in a post on X with display of their photographs, stating that they were prime suspects in the killing of the soldiers in Okuama community in the Ugheli south local government area of Delta State. Reuben Baru, who is among the 8 prime suspects connected with the Killing of the soldiers in viral video last week accused Tomopolo of masterminding the attacks.
