Terrorists launched a fresh attack at Gora Namaye district of Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to the councilor representing Faru/ Magami ward, Bello Hussaini, the bandits stormed the community on motorcycles and attacked the people killing at least 18 persons.
He said one of those injured later died bringing the number of those killed to 19.
The assailants were said to have come in their large numbers and started shooting sporadically.
Efforts to get the police authorities in Zamfara to confirm this latest attack were unsuccessful.
