Soludo Felicitates Muslims On Eid-el-Kabir, Urges Prayers For Peace And Progress

Governor Soludo congratulates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, urging prayers for peace, unity and national progress across Nigeria celebrations.

Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, urging them to pray for peace, unity and national progress.

In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday to mark the Islamic festival, Soludo described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant spiritual period that reflects the virtues of obedience, sacrifice and commitment to the common good of humanity.

The governor called on Muslim faithful to use the occasion to promote peaceful coexistence, tolerance and charity across communities, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

According to him, the essence of the Sallah celebration should inspire Nigerians to work collectively towards enduring peace and accelerated development in the country.

Soludo also reiterated his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property in Anambra State and ensuring residents celebrate the festive season in a peaceful environment.

He further wished Muslims a joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration, praying that the season would bring peace, prosperity and happiness to families across the country.
